About Rhiannon
I am a criminology student at university- and also a long-time hobbyist writer of crime thrillers and fantasy, so whether it is academic writing or creative writing you struggle with, I'm certain I can help you out. I've casually coached a few people in my course on grammar and spelling in essays, so whilst I have never done it professionally before, I am routinely asked to help people out like this.
As for creative writing, whilst I am only a hobbyist writer for now, I fully plan to get published and therefore have taken the time to do research on creative writing- I've picked up some good advice through study that I'm sure could be of interest to someone else looking for guidance- including many tips for resumes and cover letters.

When it comes to coaching writing, I don't believe anything is better than having another person proof-read and give a one to one discussion on it. When it is only you reading your own work, you would be surprised what simple things might pass you by; having someone else read my work and give feedback has been the most useful thing I have ever done for myself in writing.
I am generally kind and tactful when I'm coaching someone through writing- I can appreciate it's difficult and doesn't come naturally for some. That's fine; there are some things that don't come naturally to me as hard as I try at them, so I can understand how frustrating it can be sometimes.
I would be willing to coach through anyone up to A level, seeing as I have just completed my first year at university.
