Typically, a lesson will last an hour and we will focus on a specific topic, starting with a discussion and then looking at problems in order to identify gaps in understanding. Then we will discuss again and try to clarify these gaps and then repeat with more problems. Once we find the gap in understanding I write more problems that test this for homework exercises.
