About Connor
I have been tutoring on and off for just over two years. Initially starting with family members and friends, I branched out to local people and have since taught a large number of students. Teaching students from a range of abilities means that their results vary, but I have never seen one of my students fail. Most commonly, my students acheive B and A grades.

My teaching method is tailored to the individual or group that I am teaching; I am able to adapt my teaching style to the way that you learn. I will usually begin my lesson with a quick starter activity which will often recap something that we went over in our previous lesson. At that point, we will then go over some new (or old) material depending on your individual needs. For less confident students, this may involve starting with the basic principles of a topic and slowly building up your knowledge base but for more confident students, we may be planning essays and discussing more advanced ideas about topics. Following on from this, I will set you a short task to complete to check that you have understood the content of the session. We will then feedback on this and work through anything that you are unsure of. Depending on your level, I may also set you periodic essays and 'homework' from time to time - this will primarily be focussed at exam years because the more you write essays, the more proficient you will become.
