I received a BA in History at the University of York, and achieved top grades at A-level in History, English Literature, and Philosophy. I have tutored students online via Skype in the past, helping them throughout their studies, as well as with examination preparation and essay-writing.

I am aware that every student is different and learns in different ways, so I feel it is important to adapt my style to suit your preferences.
Generally, I will work by beginning with a “big picture” overview of the topic, then narrowing in on areas of difficulty and importance.
I will also provide exemplar answers and frameworks for essay writing, so that the student is aware of what the exam board is expecting, and has a model to work off.
