I am a patient and relaxed tutor, as I find this atmosphere is the best for learning. History has a bad reputation as being names and dates, but it's not hard to find a way to laugh as we learn.
Lessons are usually an hour, but can be as long or short as needed. I have been tutoring for about 2 years, and I currently work in a SEN department at a mainstream school, and working towards my official teaching qualification.

My son in KS3 struggles with confidence in Maths. Chris quickly put my son at ease. He broke tasks down, enabling my son to access the work and fully understand what he was doing. Chris has a brilliant calm approach which is non intimidating. Highly recommended.
