About Ella
I am a History Undergraduate at the University of Oxford with all A*s at GCSE and A Level, as well as five years' worth of experience tutoring and mentoring students from Y3 - Y13. I have tutored privately, taken part in a myriad of peer-support schemes, and currently work at Zero Gravity as a university application mentor.

I am a patient, dedicated, and flexible tutor, with experience tutoring students from Y3 - Y13, in group sessions, as well as individually. I would love to hear from students looking for tuition in:
- History (all ages)
- Politics/Current affairs (all ages)
- Latin (up to GCSE)
- The Oxford HAT (History Aptitude Test)
- Prospective applicants for History at university
Most often, I run sessions geared towards external exams (i.e: GCSEs and A-Levels), however, I also frequently work with students who want to push themselves beyond the classroom and further explore their subjects. This can be particularly useful in preparation for university study.
I structure my classes based on the individual aims of my students. I run revision sessions focused on consolidating knowledge and exam technique, however, I am also happy to offer lessons that cover content in full. For those with university in mind, I can help with subject exploration, drafting personal statements, and admissions tests. In addition, I run 'mock-tutorial' sessions that will help give you an idea of what it is like to study history at university.
