About Gabe
The majority of my family have been teachers since the Second World War, and I have always been interested in the development of young people throughout my life. I love teaching and educating, especially on subjects that I am passionate about, such as History, politics, and English, which I have studied for as long as I have been able to. This passion is what I hope to impart onto any students that I can tutor

Techniques and Teaching Methodology I focus on a student-centred approach, adapting to each learner’s goals, pace, and preferred learning style. My methodology includes: Active learning: I encourage students to solve problems, ask questions, and reflect on their understanding. Scaffolded instruction: I break down complex topics into manageable steps, gradually increasing difficulty. Interactive tools: Visual aids and quizzes to help reinforce learning. Feedback loops: I provide regular, constructive feedback and adjust lessons based on student progress. Typical Length of a Lesson Lessons are usually: 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the topic and the learner’s attention span. Shorter sessions (30–45 min) work well for younger students or focused skill-building. Longer sessions (60 min) are ideal for exam prep, project work, or deep dives into complex subjects. Qualifications/Experience as a Tutor: I have done humanities tutoring through the school for the last 2 years, whilst also assisting family members outside of school. Who the Lessons Are For: I can support learners of all ages and levels: Both key stage 2 and 3 students in their build-up to and during their GCSE examinations
