About Matthew
I am a student at the University of Sheffield who has recently started to tutor students. I taught younger relatives and family friends in GCSE History and Maths during lockdown with their teachers noticing a marked improvement in their subjects when they returned to school. Doing so gave me a taste of the reward tutoring can have and has motivated me to continue.

My teaching method is based on finding areas in a course where a student is struggling and focusing in on them to the detail so that, by explanation and practice, a student understands what they previously did not. This makes sure my students pick up marks in areas they formerly scored low on which delivers the biggest increases to grades.
