About Fiona
I am a recently retired English Language and a Literature teacher. My background is in the state sector and I have taught in both grammar schools and comprehensives. I am an ex Head of Department, and my teaching portfolio ranges from KS3-KS5. I received ‘outstanding’ in my last Ofsted and can provide excellent references. I am currently teaching 9 hours a week online, and am also an examiner for AQA and CIE. I am also a free lance writer and have written captions for an online historical atlas.

My teaching methodology is to dedicate the lesson to the needs of the individual student. I believe that it is also important to have a clear structure and targets. My experience is that establishing rapport is also an important factor.
