About Iris
I have lived in New York City for 37 years. After getting a Bachelor's Degree in education, I also received a Master's degree in Teaching English as a Second Language. For the last 29 years, I have taught in the City University of New York system.

I use lively discussion of short stories, articles, YouTube videos, etc. to encourage you to speak. I have also taught writing for almost 30 years and can work on a variety of essay styles with you. To improve your listening skills, I will use music, TED Talks, etc. Contact me if you want to feel more confident in English.
