About Rhett
I have been an international school teacher for 20 years and have taught all levels of high school physics and mathematics. In addition to my formal institutional duties, I typically have several private tutees with whom I work individually or in small groups. Their needs run the gamut from remedial regularization to homework help to subject enrichment to standardized test prep (PSAT/SAT/ACT Math, SAT Mathematics I & II and Physics Subject Tests, AP Physics and AP Calculus).
Though I often work with advanced students, I am well acquainted with the frustrations of students with severe math cognitive and skills deficiencies. For the past ten years or so, I have taught a semi-elective “support mathematics" class at my institution to help underperforming students thrive in their standard math course.
I am shameless and will use any legal method to help my students do well in math and physics. Outrageous storytelling, Disney, singing and kinesthetic learning are all tactics I routinely pull from my educational toolkit.
