Getting from high school to college may be the biggest academic challenge you've ever had to face. Achieving good test scores and writing compelling application essays can feel daunting, especially while juggling classes and activities. That's where I come in! My tutoring sessions are geared towards high schoolers looking to boost their skills and confidence on the English, Reading, and Writing sections of the SAT/ACT, or who are working on their college application essays. I like to think of my approach as more teaching life skills than teaching exam skills. My approach focuses on helping students understand the "why" behind the "what" of English language comprehension and utilization, providing a rich foundation for ongoing skill building and success.
