About Soham
I'm a high school student tutor specializing in math up through Algebra 2, including pre-algebra, Algebra 1, and geometry. Having recently worked through these courses myself, I understand exactly where students tend to get stuck and how to explain concepts in a way that actually clicks. I focus on building real understanding rather than memorization, breaking problems into clear, manageable steps, and working at a pace that fits each student. My teaching method will be using the EDGE method, explaining the topic they are having some confusion with, demonstrating how to tackle those problems, guiding them through some problems, and finally enabling them to solve the questions by themselves. What sets me apart is that I am a high school student, so I know the curriculum that students are struggling with since I recently went through it as well.
