About Marissa
In my current role, I support positive behavior strategies and provide one-on-one or small-group instruction to help students stay engaged and on task. I encourage a growth-mindset environment where students learn from mistakes and develop perseverance in challenging tasks. I strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where students feel safe, seen, and confident in their work. I build strong relationships with students and encourage a growth mindset so they feel empowered to take risks, ask questions, and engage deeply in their learning.
