About Stuart
I am a teacher who has a passion for learning and also providing the skills for students to become lifelong learners. I am skilled at explaining problems or breaking down complex processes to students, which helps in understanding difficult concepts. I also empower students with their confidence and ability in their chosen subject. By getting students to instruct me how to solve a problems from previous sessions, this instills in them a sense of achievement and confidence in their ability moving forward.

After gauging the student's understanding, I incorporate the direct method of teaching. This includes providing direct instruction and explanation on mathematical questions or scientific concepts. This approach provides the platform for students to practice questions/problems in confidence.
Typical lesson length is 60 minutes.
5 years as a High School teacher (maths and science) 10 years as a tutor.
Maths: Year 7 to 10, Standard & Advanced 11-12
