About Ben
I am a high school student. I have been voluntarily tutoring underprivileged students/minorities for free for around half a year now. Before that, I have tutored peers at my school in mathematics, and I have been told many times by my peers and others that I excel in math and teaching math.

My teaching method is very visual, and I like to give a concrete explanation of the proofs you find in Algebra, so as to not leave anything undefined or make anything seem like magic. My experience as a student also allows me to understand where frustration and confusion may come from so that I can better explain the concepts. I am very patient too, and I try to keep things pretty casual as I find that allows students to ask questions more easily.
I base my lessons first off of things you might need to review, and then I move on to more concepts that you have not learned yet. This is using your review to expand your knowledge and understanding.

My rate varies by $2 to $4 depending on how advanced you are in mathematics. If you cancel or change the time of your lesson 24 hours in advance (no later) you can get a full refund on your lesson, otherwise, you cannot.
