Growing up, I was always the quiet kid in the classroom, afraid to ask for help. This caused many frustrations because I often felt behind and stuck. It wasn't that I wasn't paying attention or didn't care to learn, it was that I needed to be taught in a different way. (As I believe is the case with most students having trouble in school!) Due to the pandemic, I was put into an online school, forcing me to teach myself. At this time, I got the best grades in my academic career! This was because I truly understood what was going on in the classroom. From experience, I know how frustrating it can be to feel behind in school and not wanting to ask for help. My goal is to create a safe and positive learning environment where my students can reach their full academic potential! For each session, I'll create an interactive lesson plan where students can see an outline of what we will be doing for the hour. I'm able to teach k-8. Happy learning!
