About Tanesha
Hi, I’m Tanesha! I’m a dedicated and patient tutor who genuinely enjoys helping students feel more confident in their learning. I understand that schoolwork can sometimes feel confusing or overwhelming, so I focus on explaining things in a simple, easy-to-understand way and making sure students feel comfortable asking questions. I tailor my lessons to each student’s grade level, learning style, and individual needs, whether they need help understanding a difficult topic, preparing for a test, completing practice questions, or simply building stronger study habits. My goal is to create a friendly and supportive environment where students can learn at their own pace, improve their skills, and feel proud of their progress.

As a tutor, I focus on making learning feel simple. I take the time to understand what each student is struggling with and explain concepts in a way that makes sense to them, rather than just giving them the answer. A typical lesson includes reviewing what the student already knows, introducing the topic, working through examples together, and then giving them a chance to try questions independently. I am patient, encouraging, and always open to questions, creating an environment where students can learn at their own pace without feeling pressured. My lessons are designed for elementary and high school students looking for extra help, practice, or a better understanding of their schoolwork, with lessons adapted to each student's grade level, course, and individual needs.

Tanesha is my best friend, and I’ve seen the way she tutors kids from all points of view. She’s an excellent teacher who teaches in a way that kids can understand and is very patient with them too. Not only does she teach so well, but she is also an expert in organization. Instead of just giving random things for students to do, she plans things weeks ahead and makes sure those plans are executed perfectly. Overall, she has all of the qualifications needed to be the most understanding and amazing teacher! I would always recommend her to anyone, parent or student, who is in need of a great tutor.
