About Claire
I am currently taking AP Calculus and have been on an advanced math track throughout high school, having completed Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2 Trigonometry, and Precalculus. I also have experience helping students in high school, middle school, and elementary school with math concepts.
I am looking to help other students improve their math skills and overall confidence. As a fellow student, these concepts are recent to me and I am eager to help others better understand math in a supportive environment.

My goal as a tutor is to make math feel less overwhelming and more understandable to students. Since I am a current high school student who recently took many of these classes, these concepts are recent and fresh to me, allowing me to connect with students and teach more of these difficult concepts.
A typical lesson plan begins with reviewing what the student already knows and what they want to go over. We then will focus on the main topic of the lesson, where I will explain concepts, demonstrate examples, and guide the student through practice problems, helping them to better understand the idea. The lesson ends with reviewing key ideas and making sure the student has an idea of what to continue practicing independently.
My lessons are designed for high school, middle, and elementary school students who want extra support in math, or want to study for an upcoming exam. I can help students with elementary or middle school math, or higher level math including Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, or Precalculus.
