About Paxton
I am a high school senior at Greater Atlanta Christian School in Norcross, GA. I have a 4.42 GPA and by the end of this year, I will have taken 8 AP courses total. I currently am a peer-tutor at my school, which is where middle and high school students can sign up to be tutored (for free) in any subject they need. My previous work experience includes: summer camp counselor, internship at a private fitness studio, and elementary after-school care worker.

As a tutor, I first see what you, the student, can do or what you already know. And if you know absolutely nothing, that is completely fine :) From there, I work to build a foundational understanding of the concept by using examples and practice problems to teach the content. I can go all the way back to the fundamental basics of the subject to help explain a concept, put it in other terms or words, teach a topic from scratch, or ANYTHING else that will best help you. I believe that tutoring shouldn't be standardized for everyone, but it should work around the student's needs to help them maximize their understanding.
I specialize in math and chemistry (having taken AP Chemistry and AP Calculus BC already), so I can teach almost any level of math before Calculus II, and any level of chemistry.
