About Anna
I am an eighteen-year-old high school senior attending a boarding school and will be graduating soon. This fall, I will attend Northwestern University in Illinois as a neuroscience major pursuing a pre-med track. I work patiently and adapt my teaching style to each student's needs. I focus on building strong foundation, confidence, and making learning fun! I believe personalized support to help students feel comfortable and capable in their learning.
I received a 5 on AP Calc BC as well as the AB sub-score.

As a tutor, my goal is to help students feel confident, supported, and capable in subjects that they struggle with. I focus on building strong fundamentals, and make space for questions to improve. I review mistakes and show students how to fix them.
Typical lesson plan:
1. Check-in / Ice-Breakers and review homework or previous materials
2. Explanation of new concepts using clear examples.
3. Solve practice problems
I can teach with any provided materials, books, or websites such as Khan Academy.
I usually do homework help for middle school students or 9th graders (writing, science (biology and chemistry), math (up to pre-calculus)), as well as teach elementary school students with reading comprehension, math, science fundamentals.
