About Rachael
Hi! My name is Rachael and I am currently a maths and science teacher. I have a genuine passion for teaching and learning, and love supporting the academic growth of students.
I graduated with Distinction from a Bachelor of Science from QUT, majoring in Biology and minoring in both Chemistry and Psychology. I followed this up with a Graduate Diploma in Education, also from QUT.
I did a science degree for one reason: I love science! I was thrilled to be able to transfer the knowledge I gained in that degree to a teaching qualification because now I get to spend all day talking about science and maths - how awesome!

I have experience as a classroom teacher so I am aware of the requirements of teaching high school students. More than anything, I aim to make my lessons as engaging as possible as I believe you cannot learn if you are not interested.
My lessons are aimed at students who are not achieving the grades they want, whether that be because of a fundamental misunderstanding or because they need an extra boost.
I am here to help students kick goals, whether it be finally passing science, reaching an A in maths, or understanding senior chemistry.
