About Allysia
I am a high school math teacher. I fell in love with mathematics when I first started teaching Grade 7 and 8 math. I love the way that math is organized, it is clean and easy to me. I have been a teacher at a private school for 2 years, but have been teaching for 5. I love everything about my job, including the relationships I have built with my students.

I typically start a lesson with a quick little eye catching activity. I like to review what has been taught previously and make connections with upcoming material. My lessons can be catered to any type of learner and grade level. I typically build my lessons in a way that I DO, WE DO, YOU DO; this means that I will guide you through an activity, we will do it together, then you will do it independently. I like to use multiple methods of learning, such as multiple online tools/games.
