About Lola
Hi, my name is Lola. I'm a high school junior who has always been driven in academics. I realized many other students are not as motivated or just struggle with concepts to have that motivation, which is why I love to teach. I truly love helping others learn with whatever they need improvement with, but my specialty is math. I have a significant drive and love to understand different mathematic concepts, but I get that it can be challenging. Sure, I'm only a 16 year old and won't be more knowledgeable than the other older tutors with degrees and sorts, but I'll be truthful about what I might not know and if that comes into play then I will strive to understand the concept and teach it when understood. Anyways, I hope to strike as a helpful friend instead of a boring tutor.

To be honest, when I tutor I go with the flow of the student. I work slow but detailed and make sure the student is confident with themselves.
I have the ability to connect more with students due to the fact I most likely am close to their age, which can lead to better understanding and connections. My lessons are for elementary - highschool level math classes. I focus on what the student is covering and needs help in. I teach from experience and knowledge with a nonjudgmental attitude.
