I bring a unique combination of high-level academic achievement and real-world teaching experience. As a top 10% high school graduate and future neuroscience major, I have a deep understanding of STEM subjects. Having successfully mastered AP Calculus, AP Biology, and AP Statistics, I know exactly where students tend to get stuck. I provide patient, structured science and math tutoring specifically designed for elementary, middle, and early high school students. My lessons focus on foundational mathematics and essential sciences. I specialize in supporting students who find these STEM subjects overwhelming, fast-paced, or stressful. My goal is to create a calm, encouraging environment where your child can break through academic roadblocks and build genuine confidence.
I don’t believe in boring, one-size-fits-all lectures. Because I was just in the classroom myself, I can connect with your child as a peer and teach practical, student-to-student problem-solving techniques. I focus heavily on reducing test anxiety and showing students that they are fully capable of mastering math and science when given the right tools.
Every 60-minute session is structured to maximize progress without causing student burnout. We begin with a quick 10-minute review of past concepts or current school homework to clear up any immediate confusion. Next, we spend 20 minutes breaking down new topics using relatable, real-world analogies rather than forcing mindless memorization. We then transition into 25 minutes of guided practice where the student takes the lead, allowing me to catch and correct mistakes in real time. We wrap up the final 5 minutes with a confidence check and set a manageable goal for the upcoming week.
