Amber is an intelligent, ambitious, and determined lady. Since I met her back in college, she has always set lofty goals and met them with grace and hard work. Amber is very knowledgeable in the areas of English and literature. Amber graduated with a B.A. in English and German from the University of Virginia. Amber also has a Masters in Fine Arts. She’s been an inspiration to everyone she meets (including me) as well as her former and current students. Amber arrives to school early so that she can review her methodical and differentiated lessons, prepare her classroom, and meet with families if need be. She meets her students and families where they are, providing accessible resources and guidance whenever possible. I believe that Amber is a good candidate for anything she puts her mind to. She is willing to put in the work to succeed. And she wants others around her to strive for success as well!

Amber is a phenomenal teacher. I've known Amber since our undergraduate years at UVA. We were both English Literature majors and she has been a great friend since. She is friendly, hardworking, and outgoing. Amber is extremely passionate about the work that she does. She is detail oriented and understands that each child has individual needs. As such, each child gets Amber at her best daily.
