My name is Dean Banks. I am a high school Dux who is currently studying Engineering at the University of Canterbury. I want to tutor students because I enjoy passing on skills to other people. It is also a very convenient job for a student.

I was a successful student at high school because of my ability to break down the steps to answer each question. I was also able to work out what type of answer was expected for each question. My tutoring strategy is to communicate these ideas in order to make exams more clear and easy to do. As well as building up the basic skills which help improve confidence and speed.
