About Violet
My teaching strategy for Singing is rooted in Flexibility, Empathy, Compassion, Communication, and Collaboration. I understand that every student comes with different musical backgrounds, confidence levels, and personal goals. So, my lessons are personalised to each learner. I begin with a voice assessment that helps me identify their vocal range, tone quality, breathing ability, and musical interests. With this information, I create a structured yet flexible study plan that focuses on improving vocal control, maintaining healthy singing habits, and building confidence.
Communication is an important part of my teaching method. I always make sure students understand the purpose of each exercise and how it helps their voice grow. I explain techniques like breath support, resonance, articulation, and vocal placement in simple words so learning becomes easy. I encourage open conversations so students can express their challenges without fear. Empathy and compassion guide the emotional environment of my lessons. Many students feel shy or unsure about their voice, so I support them with patience and motivation. I help students overcome stage anxiety, pitch insecurity, and fear of high notes by creating a calm and accepting atmosphere. Collaboration is present in every step of my teaching. I work with students to choose songs they enjoy, set goals that inspire them, and build habits that make singing enjoyable. I also teach related subjects like Music Theory, Ear Training, Rhythm Training, and Performance Techniques. These subjects strengthen musical understanding and help students become confident performers. My teaching strategy aims to help learners develop strong vocal skills, musical awareness, and emotional expression through singing.

Imagine singing your favourite song perfectly in front of an audience, feeling confident, expressive, and fully in control of your voice. My teaching methodology, built on Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity (MCIC), is designed to make that dream achievable for every student. I focus on motivation by setting achievable goals, celebrating progress, and helping students stay confident and inspired. Communication creates a supportive, interactive environment where students can share ideas, ask questions, and receive personalised feedback to refine tone, pitch, breath control, and musical expression. Integrity ensures honest guidance, disciplined practice, and a respectful, professional learning environment.
Creativity encourages exploration of different styles, improvisation, and developing a unique voice that reflects each student’s personality. I also teach music theory, rhythm, ear training, and stage presence to provide a comprehensive foundation. Lessons are tailored to skill level, goals, and interests, combining structured exercises, performance practice, and interactive activities. This approach strengthens technical mastery, expressive performance, confidence, and stage presence, helping students enjoy learning while achieving measurable progress. By applying MCIC principles, I inspire students to unlock their voice, perform confidently, and develop a lifelong passion for singing.
