About Ragib
My name is Ragib, and I am a dedicated and passionate mathematics tutor who truly enjoys helping students understand and appreciate the subject. I achieved A* in A-Level Mathematics, as well as A* in both IGCSE General Mathematics and IGCSE Additional Mathematics, and I use this strong academic foundation to support students who want to improve their confidence and reach their full potential. I chose to become a tutor because I know how powerful the right explanation can be. Many students find maths challenging not because they lack ability, but because no one has ever shown them a method that makes sense to them. I take pride in breaking down difficult ideas into clear, simple steps and showing students that they can understand and succeed in maths. As a tutor, I aim to be patient, supportive and encouraging. I create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, because that is how true understanding is built. My goal is not only to improve exam grades, but also to help students develop confidence, problem-solving skills and a genuine belief in their own abilities. Whether you are aiming for top grades in IGCSE or A-Level Mathematics, or simply want to strengthen your skills in algebra, geometry, statistics or trigonometry, I am here to guide you every step of the way. I teach every lesson with a clear, structured and student-focused approach. My goal is to make mathematics feel simpler, more intuitive and genuinely enjoyable for every learner. I start by identifying each student’s strengths and weaknesses, then tailor my explanations so they fully understand each topic before moving on. I use step-by-step methods, plenty of examples, visual explanations for geometry and trigonometry, and exam-style questions to build confidence and accuracy. My lessons typically last 60 minutes, although I can offer longer sessions for revision, exam preparation or if a student prefers a slower, more detailed pace. Every lesson ends with a short recap to make sure the key ideas are fully understood. I hold A* in A-Level Mathematics, as well as A* in IGCSE General Mathematics and A* in IGCSE Additional Mathematics. These results reflect my strong understanding of the curriculum and help me explain challenging concepts in a simple and logical way. I also actively help students improve their exam techniques, problem-solving methods and time management skills. My lessons are perfect for IGCSE and A-Level students, including those who want to strengthen their foundations, improve grades, or aim for top marks. I teach learners of all levels — whether they are struggling with basics or preparing for high-level exam questions in algebra, geometry, statistics or trigonometry. I aim to make every student feel supported, confident and capable of achieving the grade they want.
