About Emmanuel
Hi, my name is Emmanuel, and I am a high-achieving A-level student with a strong academic background in Mathematics and Science. I achieved 10 A*s and 3 As at GCSE, and I also maxed out UMS in all three science papers (Biology, Chemistry and Physics), demonstrating strong subject knowledge.
I specialise in tutoring GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Maths, and my aim is to help students improve both their understanding and exam performance. Having recently completed these exams, I understand what examiners are looking for and how to effectively gain marks through clear explanations and strong exam technique.
My teaching approach focuses on building strong foundations, simplifying difficult topics and reinforcing learning through practice questions and past paper work. I aim to create a supportive and professional environment where students can grow in confidence and achieve higher grades.

My approach to tutoring is focused on building strong understanding first, then exam technique and confidence. I break down complex topics in Biology, Chemistry and Maths into simple, step by step explanations, making sure students fully understand the core ideas before moving on to exam questions.
I also use active recall, guided practice questions and past paper practice to help students become familiar with exam style wording and mark schemes.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, although this can be adjusted depending on the student’s needs. Each session is structured to include explanation, practice and review, ensuring steady progress and clear improvement over time.
I am a high-achieving A-level student, having achieved 10 A*s and 3 As at GCSE. I also maxed out UMS in all three science papers (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics), demonstrating a strong understanding of scientific subjects at the highest level. This allows me to teach in a clear, relatable way that focuses on exactly what is needed to gain marks in exams.
My lessons are aimed at GCSE students (typically ages 14–16) who are studying Biology, Chemistry and Maths and want to improve their grades, strengthen their understanding and develop effective exam techniques.
