About Shaniah
I achieved an A* at GCSE level Maths, and an A at A Level Maths - this wasn't without its ups and downs along the way. I am keen to share my knowledge of Maths, making sessions fun and reigniting that passion for learning. I have experience in delivering training and sharing knowledge from my full time job as an Assistant Psychologist, which helps inform my methods as a tutor. Enhanced DBS certified.

Hi! I am here to help you learn (and maybe even enjoy!) GCSE Maths. I know that Maths isn't always the easiest subject to get your head around, but together we can figure it out & you'll likely already know or come to know that you'll have topics that you enjoy much more than others. We will look to build on your existing strengths and to develop the areas where you don't feel as strong. My tutoring style is driven by your learning style and what works best for you. When we first meet we can have a chat about how you best learn, what works and doesn't work for you, and what topics you particularly want to cover. We can agree on a learning plan and tackle each topic together, and review how things are going along the way. Open to year 9-11 students wanting support with GCSE Maths. Sessions offered online, sessions are 1 hour in length. Please do get in touch if you are interested and we can go from there! Looking forward to supporting you on your Maths journey.

Highly recommend Shaniah for GCSE tutoring because I was predicted a 5 but after Shaniah’s tutoring, I bumped my grade up to an 8! Shaniah taught me topics I thought I would never be able to understand because she is very patient and never made me feel embarrassed when I needed to ask lots of questions! I also wasn’t afraid to make mistakes with Shaniah as she turned them into learning opportunities. Great tutor, stress-free and you’ll definitely see the results you want!
Couldn't recommend Shaniah enough for GCSE tutoring! From our very first session, she was incredibly understanding and patient, with a clear vision to help me succeed with my studies. Her ability to personalise her teaching approach to break down complex materials into easily understandable steps made a huge difference with my learning which I am truly grateful for!
