About Emily
I have always enjoyed English lessons in school throughout my education journey. I completed my GCSEs in 2022, in which I carried on further education and received my A level grades in 2024. I’m now studying Law at university with aspirations on becoming a barrister one day. My favourite book is Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë. This novel has been my favourite for many years and I don’t believe it will be replaced. In school I enjoyed other subjects too such as Geography, religious education.

I would make an excellent English GCSE tutor because I have strong subject knowledge and a clear, supportive way of explaining ideas. I’m able to break down challenging concepts such as analytical writing, language techniques, and essay structure into manageable steps that help students feel more confident. I adapt my teaching style to suit different abilities, helping each student make real progress. Above all, I’m genuinely enthusiastic about English, and I strive to inspire other students to engage with the subject and believe in their own potential. I received both grade 7s (A) in English literature and language.
