About Juan Pablo
My name is Juan Varela, and I am a recent college graduate from the University of Florida, recently admitted to medical school. I have a Bachelor's of Science in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology and a large focus on chemistry and biophysics. I love everything to do with science and read research articles in biomedicine and physiology in my free time. I have a large emphasis on treating everyone with the utmost respect, and I could be described as having a humanistic appraoch to teaching and mentoring.

I take a hands-on appraoch that focuses on the student's goals to best equip them for adacemic success. My typical lesson plan focuses on utilizing outside materials to gain attention in a subject, describe objectives of learning, assess ability to recall information, ensure mastery with practice questions, and provide guidance through new content. These lessons are best for students in k-12, and degree-seeking college students in pre-medical courses.
