About Liv
Hello! My name is Olivia and I am a recent Biomedical Science graduate with a passion for helping students reach their full potential. Throughout my education, I have developed strong skills in science, critical thinking, and communication, achieving an A in GCSE English and BBB at A-Level before completing my degree.
I enjoy working with young people and have experience supporting children through volunteering at my primary school and helping to care for my younger sibling. These experiences have taught me patience, responsibility, and how to adapt my approach to different learning styles and personalities.
I am friendly, approachable, and committed to creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence. I understand that learning can sometimes be challenging, so I aim to make lessons engaging, supportive, and tailored to each student's individual needs.
I offer tutoring for KS3 and GCSE students in Biology, Combined Science, and English Language, helping with homework, exam preparation, revision techniques, and improving overall understanding of the subject.

My approach to tutoring is student-centred, supportive, and tailored to individual learning styles. I believe every student can succeed with the right guidance and encouragement. I focus on building confidence as well as subject knowledge, creating a positive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.
My lessons typically last 60 minutes and are structured around the student's needs. Sessions may include reviewing key concepts, working through practice questions, improving exam techniques, and identifying areas for improvement. I use clear explanations, real-life examples, and interactive activities to help students understand and retain information.
I am a recent Biomedical Science graduate with strong academic achievements, including an A in GCSE English and BBB at A-Level. Through my degree, I developed a thorough understanding of biology and scientific concepts, as well as strong analytical and communication skills. I also have experience supporting children through volunteering and childcare, which has helped me develop patience and adaptability when teaching.
My lessons are suitable for KS3 and GCSE students, particularly those studying Biology, Combined Science, or English Language. Whether a student is aiming to improve their grades, prepare for exams, or build confidence in a subject, I provide personalised support to help them achieve their goals.
