Hello! My name is Olivia. I am currently a student at the University of Liverpool studying for a masters in Mechanical Engineering. I have studied Mathematics and Physics all through school and now because of my degree I have an in depth knowledge of both subjects. I believe mathematics is not just a natural ability and I hope to help students both confident and less confident achieve their potential.
I am very familiar with the OCR, AQA and edexcell syllabus for GCSE and A-Level. I know from my own experiences Core 1 A-level mathematics can be a big step for most students and I can coach them through all topics especially differentiation and intergration which can take a while to understand, or help them get a head start with other modules. I am able to also tutor in S1 (statistics) and M1 (Mechanics).
I am happy to be sent homework problems/sheets prior to the lesson to go through with the student. I can also provide additional problem questions to go through with the student if practise is needed.
