A little more about me: I have lived in Barbican, London my whole life. I later went on to complete my BSc in Neuroscience after my A-Levels. I am a high achiever and my priority is making my student feel confident in their learning! Many of my students stay with me long term and find themselves excelling from our lessons more than they could ever predict

Hi there! I am Fiona, a private tutor local to Barbican. I teach:

Piano
Spanish
I have been tutoring for 6 years, primarily teaching ages 5-14. Several of my current students have been with me for 4+ years, and I am now expanding to online tutoring as well as in person (if local).
I also offer summer prep sessions online, 11+ preparation, general preparation and learning, special requests such as homework help.
I am a flexible tutor and always do my absolute best to accommodate my students above all else. I offer the first session completely free so that you can decide if I am the right fit for your child

To call Fiona an extraordinary tutor is an understatement. She has helped my daughter move from the bottom set of her maths cohort to the top set. My daughter is now excelling in maths, and on top of this, (a change I do actually attribute to Fiona's youth and professionalism), a HUGE change in my child's behaviour towards learning in general and improved attitude at school! She now picks up books voluntarily, which is something I truly never thought would happen. I cannot thank her enough, we love having you every Friday!
