About Esther
I grew up in Devon training in ballet and other styles of dance. To further my dance training, I studied musical theatre at Laine Theatre Arts whilst also completing my ballet teaching qualification. I am now a cruise ship head dancer. I have also worked abroad doing ballet shows and other variety shows. I have had a lot of experience teaching including teaching ballet at Purple Dragon play group, Chelsea and at Stagecoach Performing Arts, Kensington. I have a deep understanding of ballet technique and believe ballet is the foundation of all dance styles. I would love to hear from you!

My methods for younger children are to teach technique in a fun way using lots of imagery. From the ages of 3 - 7, I also focus a lot on musicality and ways for them to feel confident in dancing. For older children/teenagers, I would be more focused on precise technique and performance qualities. My general approach is very friendly, positive and encouraging. I expect them to work hard, but I always want them to enjoy my classes and look forward to the next lesson. If a student or parent has a particular requirement, I am happy to work on this too.
