Hello! I am a Masters graduate at the University of Bath in computer science. I teach Mathematics and Computer Science at GCSE and A levels. I teach online rather than in person.

About Henry
Hello! I am Henry, I have always loved maths and computer science, both the act of problem solving. I have been coding small programs for as long as I can remember, and even today I go back to the codes wrote at the beginning of my journey and use the techniques and maths i have learnt to optimise them or widen what they can do.
At university I am focusing on AI development and interaction with humans to aid with daily tasks, sometimes looking at an existing system (like google maps) and trying to improve it on a small scale as a proof of concept.

When teaching I use past paper questions or exercise sheets to find out a students strengths and weaknesses, then I focus on the weaknesses finding out why they struggle in these areas and reframing the problem if that helps. Furthermore I believe that answering questions side by side with a student, working though the question together as well as doing example questions and solutions is important.
Lessons are usually between 30 minutes to an hour.
As previously mentioned I am a Masters student, I got all A and A* in A levels and as for teaching qualifications I have written programs to aid people in learning maths for projects at university. This meant reading a lot of papers and writing my own on the subjects.
I mostly teach at GCSE and A level, I can teach other levels if requested, however I have less experience teaching those age groups.
