About Luke
During my GCSE and A-level I found learning maths theory challenging to learn and successfully apply to problems.
I worked hard to achieve the higher grades that I did.
I recognise that having someone to help and guide me beyond my teachers, providing 1:1 support would have made the journey more fulfilling and assisted smarter thinking.
I am a physiotherapist, living in Bournemouth, I help a variety of patients across different specialities; from Intensive Care to the musculoskeletal outpatient clinic.
I maintain high levels of professionalism with every person I treat and train.
I have developed a passion for teaching others and have actively gathered teaching experience: at the Health Sciences University, Nuffield Health and at University Hospital of Dorset.

Through each lesson I'll explore specific maths problems with you; helping you gain knowledge of theory, increase your understanding and apply skills.
I am a practised listener and try to find the best way in which someone learns, summarising information in easy to understand parts. I'm friendly, approachable and enjoy motivating students whilst checking each person's progress.
Lesson length usually 1-2 hours, with regular breaks to refresh and check learning. I teach secondary school maths up to GCSE.
