About Chloe
Hello! I have a passion in maths and the sciences, which helps me greatly when studying biomedical science at university. When I was studying my A-levels, I was a maths prefect and occasionally helped to tutor the younger GCSE students during my free periods. I think it is very important to tailor the lessons to the specific student in order to help them understand in a 1-to-1 setting, placing importance on the fact that no question is a silly question, and finding other ways to help a child understand.

I received a 9 in maths GCSE and 8s in the three sciences separately, so can teach these subjects effectively at a GCSE level. I am very flexible around my lectures and can vary the length of the lessons to keep you engaged. I find it very important to work through exam-style questions at your desired pace, focusing on ensuring that you understand exactly how to get to the answer, so that you can then apply this to other questions. Although getting the correct answer is important, it’s the method steps and writing out your thought process that I find the most beneficial to learning.
