About Lily
I am a current college student with a 4.0 average. I graduated high school as 2nd in my class with a 4.7 GPA. Throughout the past 5 years, I have tutored in all subjects and also tutored students for the ACT and SAT. My favorite subjects to learn and tutor are math and science, but I have also tutored previously in English and other classes. My specialties include memory techniques and deep understanding of the knowledge. To ensure that my students understand the topic, I have them teach it to me- this method has worked wonders for me in the past.

I structure my lessons by beginning with a comprehensive review- see what the student understands and what we need to focus on. Then, I will fill in any gaps on the subject that the student is lacking. We will conclude the session with practice problems and any further questions that the student has. My favorite part about being a young tutor is that I understand and learn topics in a similar way to the students that some other tutors don’t. I pride myself in helping others succeed and boosting their confidence in their academics!
