About Melisa
I am Head of Department for Social Sciences with a Master’s in Education and a degree in Psychology & Sociology (BSc Hons). I also studied these subjects at A-Level, so I understand the journey from both a student and teacher’s perspective. I have extensive experience teaching A-Level Psychology, Sociology and Health & Social Care, and I am passionate about making learning engaging, supportive and effective for every student. Many of my students have gone on to achieve top grades and progress to Russell Group universities, including Warwick, King’s College London and Manchester. I take pride in not only helping my students succeed academically, but also in building their confidence and enthusiasm for the subject. I also work closely with parents, sharing updates where needed, to ensure students feel fully supported.
