About Chelsea
I have a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science/Biology with a Spanish minor. I have worked in field biology and environmental education for non-profits, zoos, and state and federal agencies. More recently, I have taught high school science, in which I loved but I needed a more flexible schedule. I have a combined 10 years of experience in education. I have worked with youth of all backgrounds and learning styles and have a knack for catering to each student, even in a group setting.

I like to start each lesson with a check in for up to the first five minutes to talk about lesson goals and see how they are doing. Knowing a bit about my student and how they feel each day helps me get them to their goals quickly. Then, I have our time together separated into chunks to avoid doing one thing too much and to make sure we reach everything needed.
