About Brooke
The thing that inspires me most is helping a student reach their full potential in a subject or area of struggle. I want to show students that they have the capacity to succeed in anything they set their minds to and challenge them to go beyond what they think they can do. Learning is apart of everyday life, and although we do not like learning or change, we all have to find ways to adapt, succeed and persevere through hard things.

I approach tutoring by finding the out first what learning style my students learns best with. Are you a hands on type of learner, are you a visual learner, are you a logistical learner? I start by helping my student find their style of learning and plan lessons around what will allow them to learn best. I myself am a very hands on learner so I tend to create lessons for math and science that allow for hands learning. I have taught mainly middle school, but have experience tutoring higher level math courses.
