I value the importance of discovery-based learning to allow learners to build knowledge based on visualising the learning materials and relating them to everyday examples, to engage with my learners.
I have setup a series of literacy and numeracy activities to help boosting my pupils' skills that are necessary not only in their education, but also for life and for work. My experience in working with learners of different age group (from high school to university levels) allowed me to develop methods to personalise learning to meet my pupils' needs, and differentiate and scaffold the materials to my learners' level of ability. This has resulted in a rise in attainment in my pupils and the quality in their work produced.
