About Maren
During my undergraduate degree, I studied voice as my primary instrument. I have experience singing in large choirs and smaller chamber groups. I hold a Master of Music and have over five years of teaching experience. I received a distinction in ABRSM Grade 8 music theory and continued my theory studies throughout my undergraduate and master's degrees. I am excited to encourage your passion for music and there is nothing I love more than connecting with students.

I want to foster a love for music in every student I teach. It’s important to me that we work on things you want to sing or learn in every lesson. I come from a varied background of choir and musical theater. I have a track record of success in preparing vocal students for festival auditions. As a music theory teacher, I can provide you with the skills to take your musical knowledge to the next level. I can teach the AP and ABRSM curriculum.
