About Cara
Although my home university was the University of Birmingham, I decided to take upon the opportunity and do a year abroad at the University of Barcelona in my third year. This enabled me to gain insight into how business is conducted on an international level and it also allowed me to experience two completely different teaching styles.

Before starting the tutoring sessions, I will ask students to inform me of their goals and what topics they are struggling with or would like to cover. This will enable me to create a structured plan for each lesson. After each lesson is completed, I may set a number of questions for the student to complete in order so that I can check they have covered all the relevant points to get the maximum number of marks.
After teaching the relevant theory with the use of real life business examples at the start of the lesson, I will then test the student on their knowledge by presenting them with exam questions. After receiving and discussing the answer with the student, I will then provide ideal answers to questions whilst also showcasing an appropriate written structure in order so that the student gets an idea of the required standard.
