About Mia
I’ve always wanted to teach because I know firsthand just how tough learning can feel — I struggled myself when I was younger, so I truly understand exactly where these students are coming from. I know what it’s like to feel stuck, confused, or like you’re just “not good enough,” and that experience fuels everything I do. It makes me patient, empathetic, and determined to never let anyone feel the way I did back then. I want to be the kind of tutor I wish I’d had: someone who gets it, meets you where you are, and shows you that with the right support, you absolutely can succeed. Teaching isn’t just a job for me — it’s my chance to turn my own struggles into help, hope, and real progress for every student I work with. I think life is full of lessons as long as you can hear them and what else is the world if not the passing on of wisdom
