Perfect! I had a very excellent experience with Sambita's online lessons. I am a foreigner who wants to learn Bengali. Sambita has always been responsive to my ideas and wishes. Sambita studies Sanskrit and is an excellent expert on the Bengali language and its linguistic history. I was more interested in being able to understand and speak Bengali and learn about Bengali culture. Sambita prepares the lessons very carefully and with a variety of topics and materials. She corrects my mistakes but she doesn't make me feel like I am failing. I'm particularly pleased that she pays attention to my pronunciation—that's one of my biggest challenges. She gives cultural information (e.g., about the goddess Durga or the festival calendar) in a PowerPoint presentation which she then sends me by mail. Sambita is a competent and personable person. I highly recommend her as a teacher.
