About Jonathan
I enjoy helping young learners build the confidence, composure and flexibility to unlock their full potential. Whether online or in person, my enthusiastic, supportive style fosters curiosity and a love for learning, helping your child to thrive both academically and personally.
I have taught in Primary and Prep schools in London and Hertfordshire over the past 25 years.
My hobbies include cycling, tennis, chess and playing bass.

With a keen interest in identifying individual barriers to learning, I adapt my approach to each child’s needs, making new concepts accessible and memorable. Parents can rely on me to be well-prepared with clear objectives.
Qualifications: BA (Hons) Durham University; PGCE Institute of Education, University College London; Qualified counsellor (CHM, Glasgow).
Lessons are 1 hour sessions. My pupils are typically 7 to 12 years of age.
